Name and Denomination: Merlot Rosato I.G.T. Marca Trevigiana. Grape variety: 100% Merlot. Origin: vineyards in the Treviso countryside, surrounded by the Sile and Piave Rivers. Winemaking: selected, healthy grapes in slight contact with the skins; 1-day maceration in steel vats. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is decanted into 150-hl oak barrels or steel tanks where it completes the fermentation. The wine is filtered into tanks before being bottled and sold. Storage and ageing: in the cellar, at controlled humidity and a temperature of 10-12°C. Maximum ageing of 1 year. It is recommended that it is drunk young.
Colour: Rosé. Bouquet: fresh, winy, fruity. Flavour: dry, piquant, mediumbodied.
