The Contessa has 3 Thermoblocks! One for the preparation of the espresso, a second for the steam and the third for preheating the head of the group. This makes the machine faster and ready for use after only 3-5 minutes. This saves time and energy! Furthermore, the machine only heats the water actually needed at the moment “on demand” and therefore consumes much less electricity.
