Pine honey: also known as honeydew honey. Very dark, nearly black, in colour, occasionally with dark green highlights. Very dense, and remains in liquid form for a very long time. Medium bodied smoky, woody odour. Less sweet in flavour than we normally expect of honey. The flavour is similar to the aroma, medium bodied with lingering caramel and malty notes.
