Teroldego Rotaliano DOC Vigilius De Vescovi Ulzbach 2012: the wine has a dark ruby color with garnet tones. It has an intense and spicy bouquet with hints of red berries. The palate is well adjusted with a warm touch and strong respectful tannins leading to a harmonious feeling of fullness, which is lightened with acidity of the wine.
Harvest at the end of September, manual in small boxes. Part natural fermentation (without additional yeast) and part ‘induced’ fermentation (with additional yeast). Fermentation tanks are conical open-top oak vats 20 hL, at a  temperature between 28 – 32°C. Maceration time between 10 – 12 days,  technique is plunge-down and delestages – whole barries. The malolactic fermentation is natural in small barrels. Ageing: 12 – 18 months in barrique and tonneux (French Oak). Bottle ageing: 8 – 10 months. Awarded with “3 Bicchieri Gambero Rosso 2015”.
